Hangzhou will host the 7th China International Tea Expo from May 21 to 25 at the Hangzhou International Expo Center under the theme Tea and the World, Shared Development.

The expo will cover 60,000 square meters with 2,500 standard booths, featuring themed areas for regional brands, six major tea categories, tea aesthetics, tea technology, and the full tea industry chain — from new tea foods to tea ware and cultural products.

Ningde, Fujian province and Anhua county, Hunan province will serve as the guest city and guest county, respectively. Nearly 1,000 quality enterprises and close to 10,000 professional buyers from across China and major tea-consuming countries — including the United States, Canada, and Mexico — are expected to attend, supporting rural vitalization through expanded market access.

This year's expo will debut a Tea Aesthetics Zone showcasing traditional and modern tea ware craftsmanship, including ceramics from Jingdezhen in Jiangxi province, Yixing in Jiangsu province, and Longquan in the neighboring city of Lishui.

Building on Hangzhou's reputation as a time-honored tea capital and digital city, the event will combine exhibitions with forums, such as those on future tea trends and the high-quality development of tea foods. Cultural programs like Tea Tasting with 100 Enterprises and a tea culture book fair will further enrich the experience.

Having welcomed thousands of participants from over 30 countries since its launch, the China International Tea Expo has become a vital platform for global cooperation in the tea industry.
