Luis Oswaldo Lopez Alvarez, the ambassador of El Salvador to China, hosted a wine and product promotion event in Hangzhou on May 8, highlighting the Central American country's unique offerings and growing ties with China.

During the event, Ambassador Lopez introduced El Salvador's natural resources, business environment, and flagship products, including specialty Arabica coffee, volcanic rock-distilled spirits, organic fruit juices, and honey.

"Each product we bring carries organic certification, aligning with Chinese consumers' pursuit of health and quality," he noted, expressing hope that more people in China will come to appreciate El Salvador's high-quality goods.

Located in northern Central America and home to rich volcanic soil, El Salvador is known for its premium agricultural products. Since establishing diplomatic ties with China in 2018, the two countries have seen deepening cooperation. Notably, Hangzhou and San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador, are now sister cities, fostering increased cultural and economic exchange.
