The third Delicious Zhejiang Gourmet Market recently lit up Wulin Square in Hangzhou, with the InterContinental Hangzhou showcasing a fusion of Eastern and Western flavors that drew crowds of food lovers.

While the market has now ended, the culinary celebration continues at the hotel, where the A Taste of Love: Verona Food Festival runs through June 30. Guests can savor authentic Italian dishes from Verona, hometown of Romeo and Juliet, prepared by guest chef Maurizio Favella from the renowned Due Torri Hotel.

Signature dishes include:

Duck ragu pasta: Rich duck meat sauce paired with handmade pasta and fresh parmesan.

Red wine risotto: Deep, aromatic flavors infused with Verona's famed wine.

Cannoli: Crispy pastry rolls filled with sweet ricotta, orange peel, and chocolate.

Cheese fondue & gelato station: A full sensory Italian dessert experience.

Beyond the plate, the festival offers Italian cultural immersion — from Vespa displays and micro mosaic crafts to romantic phrase workshops and mask-making inspired by Italian carnivals.

Celebrating the culinary and cultural bond between Hangzhou and Verona — two cities of love and history — this event brings the unique flavors of Italy right into the heart of Hangzhou.
