The fourth session of the 12th Hangzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) commenced in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on the morning of May 21.

After conducting in-depth surveys and collecting public opinions, members submitted proposals concerning economic development, education, healthcare and people's well-being during the session, offering suggestions on Hangzhou's further development.

The session will last four days and end on May 24.
