Over 200 Global Experts Gather in Hangzhou to Explore the Future of AI

The 2025 Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Conference (GAITC) opened on June 7 in Hangzhou, bringing together more than 200 leading scholars from around the world.
The conference features four keynote speeches and 25 specialized sessions, showcasing the latest breakthroughs and industry trends in AI.
Highlights include the release of industry-specific foundation models developed in Hangzhou, a new IP-backed financing initiative for AI startups, and the signing of tech transfer projects from Zhuoxi Lab — signaling acceleration of national scientific achievements in Hangzhou.
Top experts such as Dai Qionghai, Adrian Hilton, He You, and Tian Qi delivered keynotes on AI theory, intelligent unmanned systems, human-centered AI, and 3D/4D content creation from sparse data. The event also recognized five Qingyuan Scholars and 10 emerging researchers through a youth-focused interdisciplinary salon.
This marks the sixth consecutive year GAITC has been held in Hangzhou. With a strong AI industry foundation and talent ecosystem, the region continues to evolve as a major hub for innovation and AI industrial clustering in China.
