Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, hosted the 10th exchange event between local private businesses and counterparts from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) on June 11–12.

The event welcomed diplomats, business officials, and representatives from countries including Thailand, Peru, Chile, Poland, and the United Arab Emirates.

Organized by the Hangzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the event served as a key platform for linking local private enterprises with BRI countries. Officials, including CPPCC Chairman Ma Weiguang and Deputy Mayor Huan Jinyuan, encouraged deeper cooperation and mutual market development.

Since its launch in 2015, the exchange has hosted 175 delegations and facilitated dialogue with over 1,100 Hangzhou private enterprises, becoming a vital bridge for international collaboration under the BRI framework.
