Robot expo highlights China's smart manufacturing power
The Hangzhou International Android and Robot Technology Exhibition 2025 took place from June 20 to 22, marking China's first professional exhibition dedicated to the entire industrial chain of humanoid robots. The event attracted over 200 leading global companies, including Tesla, Alibaba Cloud, Unitree Robotics and Wolong Electric.
The first Hangzhou Android Industry Connection Conference was held on June 21, bringing together leading experts from academia and industry. The conference focused on key topics such as breakthroughs in core technologies and paths to industrialization, aiming to facilitate in-depth exchanges and promote the construction of a robust humanoid robotics industrial ecosystem.
During the expo, the first batch of technological products and application demands for humanoid robots were released. These demands, covering Hangzhou, Ningbo, Jiaxing and other regions, centered on the themes of "seeking collaboration for technical breakthroughs, applications for innovative results, and markets for product services." This initiative built an effective bridge for precise matchmaking across the entire industry chain.
Leading enterprises such as DeepRobotics and Alibaba Cloud, along with component suppliers and embodied intelligence solution providers, showcased their latest products and shared insights on cutting-edge technologies and real-world applications.
Zhu Shiqiang, vice chairman of the Zhejiang University Council, delivered a keynote speech that reflected the academic community's exploration and experience in advancing robotics from lab research to industrial application.
Sun Lining, dean of the School of Mechanical and Electric Engineering at Soochow University, provided forward-looking insights into how robotics can serve as a key driver of "new quality productive forces," promoting both innovation and high-quality development.
Dedicated to becoming a global showcase for the latest in robotics technology, the expo also featured cutting-edge product exhibitions, engaging robotics showcases and a series of vibrant industry forums.
