Hangzhou — capital of East China's Zhejiang province — hosted a career fair at the Hangzhoudong Railway Station, or Hangzhou East Railway Station, on July 9, offering over 300 job and internship opportunities for fresh graduates, local media outlets reported.

The event, featuring work opportunities at more than 50 companies in sales, management and tech development, provided an efficient job-matching platform.

Since early this year, Hangzhou's Shangcheng district, where the railway station is located, has operated such an employment service at the transport hub, regularly organizing monthly hiring events.

The railway station has become a key gateway for young people seeking jobs or starting businesses in the city and Shangcheng district plans to expand online the services to attract and retain more talent.
