The Hangzhou Botanical Garden in Xihu district of Hangzhou — capital of East China's Zhejiang province — recently launched its own nifty cultural and creative product line which is proving to be a hit with customers.

The product range turned its signature plants into adorable everyday items — from pressed-flower fridge magnets and plant-shaped towels, to embroidered badges and plush toys.

Although the official store opened on July 30, the shop went viral on social media during its trial period, generating over 200 sales per day on weekends.

With over 200 products designed around local flora like plum blossoms, lotuses and pitcher plants, the collection blends utility, aesthetics and nature. Visitors can also try their hand at DIY mini potted landscapes.

"The products let people take home a piece of nature," said a member of staff. Many customers said the items offered a fresh, soothing experience that extended the garden's healing charm beyond its gates.

The store is open daily from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
