Unitree's H1 robot wins 1,500 meter race as China hosts world's first humanoid games
Beijing Lingyi Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hangzhou-based Unitree Robotics secured the first gold medal at the first competition day of World Humanoid Robot Games on Friday. Unitree H1 humanoid robot — the very same one that appeared on the 2025 Spring Festival Gala, achieved a time of 6:34.40 in the track and field 1,500 — meter race, the Global Times reporter learned from Wang Xingxing, founder and CEO of Unitree Robotics.
