Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, welcomed a quirky and wacky new attraction this week — a cafe themed on sloths, where visitors can meet the tropical rainforest mammals up close.
On Aug 19, residents gathered at the cafe to observe the sloths, animals native to Latin America known for their slow movements and tree-dwelling lifestyle.
The venue quickly became a hit with locals and tourists — offering coffee, leisure space and a rare chance to learn about the six known species of sloths that live year-round in tropical forests.
