A commemorative stamp set marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Indonesia was issued on Aug 30 in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province.
The set, jointly designed by China Post and Indonesia Post, features two stamps: Hangzhou's West Lake and Bali's Lake Bratan.

West Lake — a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its cultural legacy and scenic beauty — represents China, while Lake Bratan, a volcanic lake known for its serene landscapes and historic temples, represents Indonesia.

At the launch ceremony, the first edition of the stamps was donated to the Hangzhou International Friendship City Pavilion for its permanent collection. The first commemorative stamp envelope, numbered 0001, was also sent to the Indonesian Consulate General in Shanghai, symbolizing shared friendship and future cooperation.
The stamps employ high-precision printing and fluorescent technology, allowing different visual effects under ultraviolet light — enhancing both their security and artistic appeal.
A total of 4.5 million sets will be released, each valued at 2.40 yuan ($0.37).
The commemorative stamps are available nationwide at designated postal outlets, online platforms and from postal apps for a six-month sales period.
