TravelDepot — the one-stop travel goods retailer — is set to launch its first global store in Tonglu county in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province.
It marks the start of its dual first-store strategy and the brand aims to open over 200 outlets in China within five years, targeting revenues of more than 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion).
The store will offer a full range of travel-related products — from luggage, outdoor gear, apparel and footwear to electronics, food and skincare. That's along with personalized services such as airport check-ins, luggage deliveries and currency exchanges.
TravelDepot has signed up with leading international brands including Away, Bellroy, Tesport, Thule, Kissora, Rains, Herschel and Chums — with the first four to open China first stores and the latter three opening Hangzhou first stores.
The global first flagship store will open at the Westlake 66 shopping center in the first half of 2026, while the first membership store — at Tongludong Railway Station, or Tonglu East Railway Station — is set to start trial operations in January 2026.
Developed by League Holdings, one of the largest luggage and bags manufacturers in China, TravelDepot will integrate online and offline services to build a full-chain travel retail ecosystem.
