The newly launched Smart Logistics Zone — that will take a bow at the 4th Global Digital Trade Expo, being staged from Sept 24 to 29 in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province — is expected to draw attention as the event's most market-oriented area.
The zone will display innovations across the full logistics chain, from transportation and last-mile deliveries to warehousing and intelligent data management.
Exhibits will feature dynamic transport network optimization systems, autonomous trucks, delivery robots and drones.
Smart warehouses employ digital twins and automated picking, boosting efficiency by up to five times compared with manual operations. Advanced algorithms predict shipment volumes and optimize routing, while federated machine learning ensures data privacy in decision-making.
At the event, industry leaders including SF Express will display cutting-edge solutions such as cloud-based supply chain platforms, AI models and low-carbon packaging.
Emerging startups like Neolix will showcase their autonomous delivery vehicles for urban logistics, which promise to cut costs and improve delivery speeds by over 30 percent.
By integrating technology with market-driven operations, the Smart Logistics Zone aims to turn innovation into business opportunities — offering exhibitors a platform for global collaborations and commercial applications.
