China's so-called "Six Little Dragons" — Game Science, DeepSeek, Unitree Robotics, DEEP Robotics, BrainCo and Manycore Tech — will make history by sharing the stage at the upcoming 4th Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE). Ticket sales for the event opened on Monday, the organizer told Global Times.
The six Hangzhou-based star companies will showcase breakthroughs like advanced AI models, robots, brain science, and high-end gaming at the 4th GDTE, a five-day tech extravaganza from Sept 25 to 29 to be held in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.
Compared with previous editions, the scale of 2025 GDTE is massive, with more than 1,700 exhibitors joining the expo.
As China's only national-level and globally focused showcase for digital trade, the expo has become a must-visit for technology fans, entrepreneurs, and families. Many companies will bring their latest products and technologies to this expo, the event organizer said.
For example, BrainCo will debut the latest innovation — the Revo 2 bionic dexterous hand. Weighing just six eggs, it can effortlessly lift goods weighing 20 kilograms. Built-in multi-sensory touch sensors can detect an object's hardness, texture, and force direction, allowing it to grab but also to "feel" items.
Unitree Robotics' G1 humanoid robot, already a favorite at many events, will also show up at the 4th GDTE. Launched in 2024, this 132-centimeter-tall, 35-kilogram machine can sprint at more than 2 meters per second, and jump up to 1.4 meters in a standing leap.
Beyond the "Six Little Dragons," other cutting-edge innovations will also take the spotlight. The Zhejiang Lab's exhibit centers on "Sending AI to Space", featuring a "Three-Body Computing Constellation" interactive experience with satellite flight videos and hands-on devices, painting a picture of interstellar digital exploration for visitors.
Zhejiang University's Hangzhou Global Scientific and Technology Innovation Center will showcase the Black Panther II — the world's fastest quadrupedal robot, clocking 8.89 meters per second to set a new record.
A Hangzhou-based robotics firm will unveil three new band robots capable of playing drums, guitar, and other instruments. The drum-playing robot, developed recently, represents the company's latest research breakthrough, the organizer said.
Plus, ROBO BOAT unmanned ships, concept cabins of flying cars and low-altitude logistics drones will include.
Apart from Chinese tech companies, international companies will also put on display their latest products.
For instance, Tesla will open public test drives for the first time at a national expo in Zhejiang province, enabling visitors to experience the new Model Y L's intelligent driving aids and auto-parking features.
International exhibitors make up more than 20 percent of all exhibitors, with over 70 of them being Fortune Global 500 companies, Vice-Minister of Commerce Sheng Qiuping said at a press conference.
Themed "Witness the Innovation Future at the Global Digital Trade Expo", the 4th edition covers 155,000 square meters across one main zone and seven specialized areas, covering digital ordering, new services and products, and data trade. It will bring together top global digital innovations, blending interactive demos and deals for a fun "tech wonderland" where reality meets the future, the organizer said.
The increasing interest from global partners is reflected in the surge of registrations. So far, more than 10,000 foreign merchants have signed up to participate in the event, up 54 percent from last year, according to Yao Gaoyuan, mayor of Hangzhou, at a special press conference dedicated for GDTE.
