A cross-cultural conference on education, science, technology, and industry innovation was held on Oct 18 at Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) in Hangzhou, celebrating the school's 40 years of educational cooperation with its German counterparts.
Experts, scholars, and business representatives from both countries gathered to review decades of partnership and explore new paths for integrated development.

The institute, jointly established with Europe's Synesis Consortium and Germany's leading organization for applied research, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, aims to create a new platform for Sino-European cooperation.
ZUST President Chen Jianmeng and German university representatives released a plan, calling to upgrade the long-running China-Germany Forum into a high-level platform that integrates education, technology, and industrial innovation.
During the Qiantang-Rhine Strategic Dialogue, Shi Mingde, former Chinese ambassador to Germany and president of the Chinese Germany Friendship Association, highlighted the importance of people-to-people exchanges in fostering mutual understanding and stability between China and Germany.
