WEF Hangzhou meeting focuses on tech-driven supply chains
Global supply chains are under pressure. Geopolitical uncertainty, trade shifts, and rapid tech change are creating new complexities. The critical question is how to power these networks through innovation. The World Economic Forum is hosting a major meeting in Hangzhou today, where over 250 global leaders are discussing how China's technology can create stronger, more sustainable supply chains and enhance international cooperation.
GIM HUAY NEO Managing Director, World Economic Forum "In the World Economic Forum's 2025 global risk report, 52 percent of experts anticipate an unsettled global outlook over the next two to three years. Another 36 percent foresee a turbulent and stormy outlook. When you add these numbers, it comes to about 88 percent. This shows a broadly pessimistic view of the short-term future."
