Three people's congress deputies share insights

A deputy experience-sharing session took place at the Zhejiang Great Hall of the People in Hangzhou on the afternoon of Jan 20, following on from a preparatory meeting for the sixth session of the 14th Hangzhou Municipal People's Congress. Three deputies took the stage to share their work experiences and proposals.

Sun Yanlong, a deputy from the Binjiang district delegation, drew on in-depth research in the artificial intelligence sector to propose building a public data platform for embodied intelligence, supporting open application scenarios and spatial computing data access, to foster emerging industries and drive high-quality growth.

Hu Xiangfu, from the Xihu district delegation, focused on optimizing the business environment through the rule of law. His proposals on strengthening trade secret protection and diverting certain commercial disputes to arbitration aim to safeguard innovation, improve dispute resolution efficiency, and reduce institutional transaction costs.

Li Nan, a deputy from Fuyang district, highlighted cultural heritage protection and creative transformation. Centered on the Sizhou papermaking workshop site, she proposed integrating heritage preservation, museum development, cultural tourism, and creative industries to revitalize Song Dynasty (960–1279) cultural assets and support Hangzhou's cultural legacy and development.
