After recent snowfalls, Luniao Mountain in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, has been transformed into a winter wonderland. Trees blanketed in snow are adorned with rime ice, creating a dreamlike landscape of crystal-clear branches that resemble a fairy-tale world.
The rare post-snow scenery has drawn large numbers of visitors eager to admire the shimmering frost and experience the unique charm of nature. Luniao Mountain is known for its beauty throughout the year. Beyond its famous seas of clouds, the area bursts into color each April and May, when rhododendrons bloom across the mountainsides. Sunrises, vast forested landscapes, and open wilderness further add to its appeal.
