Hangzhou welcomes Chinese New Year with vibrant cultural performances
The provincial-level intangible heritage performance Eastern Wu War Horses staged a festive street parade in the Qiaoxi historic area near Gongchen Bridge on Feb 7. Dressed in ancient-style costumes and riding handcrafted bamboo horses, performers marched to rhythmic drums under glowing red lanterns, forming symbolic formations that conveyed blessings of reunion, protection and a bright future.
