The Zhejiang Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum launched a series of Spring Festival cultural activities from Feb 10 to March 22, featuring a horse-themed exhibition as the centerpiece.

The exhibition opened on Feb 10. Centered on the Chinese zodiac sign of the horse, it showcases 110 horse-related works drawn from Zhejiang's intangible cultural heritage resources and representative projects.

Exhibits include ceramics, wood carving, bamboo weaving, paper-cutting, and selected works from the museum's collection.

Through artistic depictions of the horse, the exhibition highlights local interpretations of the animal as a symbol of vitality, admiration, and aspiration, offering a glimpse into Zhejiang's social values and aesthetic traditions.

Public participation is a key feature of the program. Ahead of the exhibition, organizers invited submissions from across the country. An interactive art space has also been set up, allowing visitors to create and display their own works on-site.

The museum's Spring Festival series also includes a Chinese New Year goods market, book giveaways, film screenings, traditional opera performances, and study workshops, offering visitors a wide variety of cultural experiences.
