Hangzhou extended its winning streak in the 2026 Zhejiang City Football League (Wuyue Cup) with a 2-1 home win over Shaoxing, securing a third straight victory.
Playing at the Xiaoshan Sports Center, Hangzhou took control early despite squad rotation. Striker Wu Haoyi opened the scoring in the 17th minute with a close-range finish, marking his fourth consecutive match with a goal and keeping him at the top of the scoreboard. Young midfielder Wang Haoquan doubled the team's lead in the 32nd minute with a header, his first goal of the tournament.
Shaoxing pulled one back late after a defensive error, but Hangzhou held on for the win. The result leaves the team level with Ningbo on 10 points after four rounds, with three wins and one draw.
The match also highlighted inclusivity and technology. Lin Yunyu, a tester of intelligent bionic prosthetic legs, performed the ceremonial kickoff, while dozens of disabled sports enthusiasts attended the game with accessible facilities and live commentary support.
Organizers said the event showcased not only competitive football but also the integration of sports, technology and social inclusion in Hangzhou, a city positioning itself as a leader in artificial intelligence innovation.
