The 2026 Zhejiang City Football League (Wuyue Cup) will continue on May 1, with team Hangzhou set to host team Jinhua at the Linping Sports Center at 3 pm in a major holiday event that will have a large influence on the standings.
Hangzhou enters the match in solid form, having secured two consecutive wins and showing strong offensive cohesion. The team aims to extend its winning streak on home turf.
Jinhua, meanwhile, has proven its resilience. Despite a narrow 1–2 away defeat in their previous match, the team demonstrated a strong fighting spirit with a stoppage-time goal. With a game in hand and a points situation that allows flexibility, Jinhua is expected to play with fewer constraints and full intensity.
The match is more than a contest for points — it is also seen as a symbolic clash of regional football identity within Zhejiang, adding extra excitement for fans during the May Day holiday.
