A motorcycle team backed by Hangzhou-based manufacturer CFMOTO delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 MotoGP Hungarian Grand Prix, highlighting the growing global competitiveness of Chinese motorcycle technology.
Competing at the Balaton Park Circuit, CFMOTO's Aspar Team claimed victory in the Moto3 race, with Maximo Quiles securing the team's fifth win of the season.
The 4.1-kilometer circuit, featuring 17 corners, is known for demanding precision handling, keen braking performance and superb agility. Quiles controlled the race throughout and crossed the finish line with a commanding lead.
According to CFMOTO, success on the world's premier motorcycle racing stage not only enhances the brand's international visibility but also provides valuable data for improving production models.
The company, headquartered in Hangzhou's Linping district, has steadily expanded its motorsports presence in recent years. In 2024, its Moto3 team swept the riders', teams' and manufacturers' championships. Strong results have continued throughout the 2026 season.
Beyond racing, CFMOTO operates a smart manufacturing network that connects six production bases and more than 400 core suppliers worldwide, supporting both innovation and customized production.
The company says upcoming performance tests of its new V4SR-RR superbike aim to demonstrate that Chinese high-end motorcycles can compete with the world's best.
