Three main towers of the central section over navigation channels of the Hangzhou Bay Cross-Sea Railway Bridge were topped out on Thursday, marking the completion of all seven main towers of the three sections over navigation channels of the railway bridge, which will be followed by the phase of steel beam installation.
The 29.2-km-long cross-sea bridge, which is a crucial segment of the Nantong-Suzhou-Jiaxing-Ningbo High Speed Railway, consists of three sections over navigation channels, and its ballastless double-track design allows trains to run at the speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
