Hangzhou's Binjiang district offers year-round floral scenery

Binjiang district plants its seasons right on the street. In March, thousands of Yoshino cherries turn Wentao Road into a pale pink run. Summer brings lotus at Baima Lake and rose ribbons along the elevated road. By late October, osmanthus scents Gaijiao and Liuhe parks, then ginkgo gold lines Changhe Street. Winter waits with wintersweet, red plum, and magnolia. The city keeps time by living things.
