The fourth Tianmuli Coffee Festival will run from Oct 30 to Nov 1 at Tianmuli, an urban commercial and art complex in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, offering visitors a mix of specialty coffee, creative markets, hands-on workshops, and social activities.
The event will bring together 60 specialty coffee brands from cities across China and overseas, including Spain, the United Kingdom, and South Korea. Visitors can sample distinctive coffee creations, purchase beans, explore coffee-making equipment, and learn techniques such as latte art and coffee cupping from industry professionals. The event will also serve free coffee daily, alongside limited-edition drinks and prize draws.
Participating brands will present concepts inspired by diverse local cultures and sustainable design. Highlights include Oatly's coffee cabin beneath the trees, a modular space inspired by traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, and a sustainable pavilion built from recycled marine waste.
The festival will also feature 22 themed sessions covering coffee culture and industry topics. International competition-winning baristas will offer demonstrations and professional insights.
Beyond tasting, the event aims to create a meeting place for coffee enthusiasts to exchange ideas and explore the connections between coffee, design, local culture, and everyday life.
