The 20th Hangzhou Cultural and Creative Industries Expo will take place from Nov 5 to 9 at the White Horse Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, marking two decades of development in the city's cultural sector.

The expo will feature five themed exhibition halls covering future trends, consumer experiences, youth culture, cultural tourism, and everyday life. A special exhibition will trace the development of Hangzhou's cultural industries through five stages, highlighting industrial growth, digital integration, and international expansion.

A major highlight will be a showcase of Hangzhou's three emerging cultural sectors — online literature, online film and television, and online gaming.

The event will also spotlight technology-driven cultural innovation, with more than 120 AI products from MetAIHub, robotics demonstrations, immersive XR experiences, and exhibitions featuring digital heritage preservation. A new section dedicated to one-person companies in the cultural and creative industries will bring together more than 10 businesses working in AI content creation, smart products, and AI agents.

International participation will include companies and organizations from more than 40 countries, alongside nearly 6,000 domestic and international cultural and creative brands. Exhibitions will showcase Egyptian cultural experiences, international handicrafts, contemporary design, and traditional arts.

Running alongside the expo will be industry forums, business matchmaking events, an AI cultural creation hackathon, and a nationwide AIGC video project, connecting creative talent with businesses and global markets.
