Two technology companies from Qiantang district in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, showcased their innovations at the 2026 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit, which opened on Nov 2 in Jiaxing, demonstrating how AI can be integrated into manufacturing and other industries.
Hangzhou Youqiu Zhixing Network Technology presented an AI-powered soccer training system powered by its YQV-1 visual model. Using two cameras and 3D motion capture, the system analyzes players' movements, ball speed, spin, and shot accuracy, generating professional-level assessments and training suggestions.
Hangzhou Haoshitianhui Technology demonstrated a brain-computer interface that enables users to type by thought. Weighing about 80 grams, the device uses three electrodes placed across the forehead to capture brainwave signals. Its AI system decodes the signals and suggests characters, allowing users to select them through eye movements. The technology is being developed to help people with conditions such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and high-level spinal cord injuries communicate.
Qiantang accounts for about 3 percent of Hangzhou's land area but generates roughly 20 percent of its industrial output. In the first nine months of the year, output from industrial enterprises above the designated size — enterprises with annual revenue of at least 20 million yuan (about $3 million) — reached 311.8 billion yuan.
With strong clusters in biomedicine, integrated circuits, and aerospace, alongside a new robotics training base with Unitree Robotics, the district is advancing its ambition to become a leading hub for AI-driven manufacturing.
