The 20th Hangzhou Cultural and Creative Industries Expo will take place in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, from Nov 5 to 9, featuring the debut of an exhibition zone dedicated to one-person companies (OPCs) in the cultural and creative industries.

The zone will showcase how entrepreneurs use AI models, agents, and digital tools to develop and operate businesses with smaller teams and fewer resources. It will focus on three areas: AI-powered content production, AI-assisted creative design and manufacturing, and AI agents for content creation, business operations, and customer service.

The exhibition will also feature an OPC smart manufacturing workspace in collaboration with the Digital Printing Laboratory of the National University Science and Technology Park at the China Academy of Art. More than 10 OPC companies are expected to present their products and applications, with 10 ecosystem platforms and leading companies contributing to the co-creation.

Related events include an AI cultural creation hackathon exploring the integration of generative AI with traditional culture and intangible cultural heritage, an AI video co-creation program inviting creators to tell stories about Hangzhou, and industry matchmaking activities covering AI short dramas, films, and interactive entertainment.
