Hangzhou (中国,杭州）, East China's Zhejiang province had a total of 6,229 invention patents authorized in the first half of 2019. The city's portfolio of valid invention patents has now risen to 55,390, ranking first among the nation's provincial capitals, according to statistics released by the local government.
