Introduction:

Cancun is a city in southeastern Mexico on the northeast coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. It is an important tourist destination in Mexico. The city is on the east of the Caribbean Sea, and has a population of 650,000. It is a shaped crescent moon island with a length of 21 kilometers, and there is a 24 square kilometers river between the island and mainland.
