The Ding’an Natatorium, or swimming pool building, was designed to meet or exceed standards set by the competition. It is equipped with first-class disinfected water circulation, heating, lighting and a ventilation system and is suitable for various swimming competitions. The standard swimming pool has varied depths; and there is a children’s pool. The natatorium has seating for 200 people and receives more than 300,000 swimmers every year.

The natatorium is a swimming training base for teenagers in Shangcheng district. There are currently around 150 trainees, as well as several excellent swimming instructors.
