Zhiweiguan Restaurant was founded by Sun Yizhai in 1913. Its name comes from the saying, “If you want to know my restaurant’s taste, just look at my chosen ingredients.” The establishment is famed for its local snacks. Weizhuang Restaurant was founded in 2004 and is located on Yanggong Causeway in the West Lake area. It was built on the lakeshore with an architectural style of winding corridors, courtyards, waterside pavilions, and meandering pathways. The restaurant serves traditional Hangzhou cuisine, but has also introduced new dishes to suit modern tastes.
