Yunji is a social e-commerce platform that was born at the beginning of the sharing economy. It officially went online in May, 2015. Currently, Yunji has over 600 employees across China. It has its headquarters at Binjiang district of Hangzhou, a Customer Experience Center in Xiacheng district of Hangzhou, a Research and Development Team in Shenzhen, Guangdong, and a Customer Service Team in Hefei, Anhui. As an e-commerce APP selling products through social networks, Yunji shares the resources from its cloud space, and provides services such as storage, logistics, IT, training, and custom service, making it easier for any ordinary person to start an online retail business. After 32 months of development, Yunji has helped more than three million individuals take that step, and by the end of December 2017 its gross monthly sales were exceeding one billion yuan.
