Therese Hesketh: Improve the health wellbeing of children in China
Therese Hesketh is an expert in pediatrics and public health from the United Kingdom who first came to Hangzhou in 1986 and helped to build China's first intensive care units for new-born babies in the children's hospital in Hangzhou.
Working as a professor in global health in Zhejiang University at present, she focuses on improving people's quality of life and the health wellbeing of children in China.
