Gastone, or Gai Shitong in Chinese, is a foreign student from Zambia. Having graduated from Zhejiang University of Science and Technology in marketing, he is the first international student who has received an entrepreneurship residence permit in Hangzhou.

Now, he is a member of the Belt and Road Initiative Entrepreneurial Center of Foreign Students in Hangzhou Cross-Border Trading Town, helping more overseas students to conduct cross-border trade in Hangzhou and starting their own businesses.

With Hangzhou being the home of e-commerce giant Alibaba and its founder Jack Ma, he hopes his dream can also come true in the city.
