Ancient Egyptian exhibition opens in Hangzhou

An exhibition featuring cultural relics from ancient Egypt opened at the Zhejiang Provincial Museum of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province on Jan 22.
Running until May 5, the exhibition is composed of five parts and showcases a total of 180 pieces of cultural relics of ancient Egypt, including mummies and sculptures that have been loaned from museums in Italy.
Showcasing the daily life, hieroglyphs, religious beliefs and funeral culture of ancient Egyptians, the exhibits offer visitors a rare opportunity to ingest the different aspects of the culture that originated along the banks of the Nile River thousands of years ago.
