Around 300 business representatives and academic scholars from Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, and France gathered in Hangzhou on April 11 to exchange views on international cooperation in innovation and development.
The event is designed to boost cooperation between universities, organizations and enterprises in both places.
During the forum, attendees had in-depth discussions regarding scientific and technological innovation, the integration of education and production, talent cultivation and international cooperation.
A center designed to facilitate innovation cooperation between China and France was established during the event.
Located in Inno & Entre Town of Hangzhou, the center will be committed to attracting more high-caliber French talents to start businesses in Hangzhou and promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in the two countries.
Zhang Bin, CEO of the center, said that the leading industries in France are similar to those in Hangzhou and include biomedical, automotive, aerospace, new energy and new materials.
As one of the most important technological innovation platforms in Hangzhou, the Inno & Entre Town is now home to over 4,000 hi-tech companies and dozens of innovative research institutes.
