Assorted activities showcasing Hangzhou's distinctive culture were held throughout the holiday, including 3D light shows, a cultural street market, and most remarkable of all cartoon and animation performances in Hangzhou Safari Park in celebration of the 15th China International Cartoon and Animation Festival.

To ease the traffic flow and improve tourism services for visitors, Hangzhou travel agencies and local scenic spots launched a slew of convenience services with the help of intelligent technology, including access to scenic spots by scanning QE codes, special travel routes, online booking, audio guides and electronic navigation in the parks.
