The organizing committee of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 launched its official licensing program on June 28 to solicit the first batch of licensed production enterprises as part of further preparations for the event.
Licensed merchandise manufacturers and retailers are divided into the six categories of badges and non-precious metals, precious metals, silks, stationery, home appliances and crafts.
To guarantee the quality of licensed products, companies should have been established over one year and have good corporate credit and social accountability. Their registered capital should be more than 10 million yuan ($1.46 million).
Franchised production enterprises should meet the system certifications in quality, environmental protection and information security management while having a sound capacity for product development, design, production management, marketing and anti-risking.
Interested individuals and companies can check the official website of the organizing committee and submit their designs via email (marketing@hangzhou2022.cn) before 5pm on July 3.
Qualified bids approved by a panel will be demonstrated online for public review. Winning bids will have the right to develop, design, produce or sell licensed goods with the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee until Dec 30, 2022.
Since the launch of a marketing program for the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 on Dec 26, 2018, the organizing committee has solicited partners in six areas: information technology and cloud services, financial technology services, communication services, banking services, air services and auto services.
