Hangzhou to hold computing conference in September

The Apsara Conference 2019, organized by Alibaba Cloud, will be held in Hangzhou Cloud Town in Zhejiang province from September 25 to 27, the organizing committee announced on July 2.
With a focus on the rise of data intelligence, this year's event will explore the prospective scientific and innovative breakthroughs in the next 20 years and display the latest trends in frontier technologies from worldwide hi-tech companies.
Topics of discussion will include machine intelligence, 5G technology, cloud databases, biometric identification, chips, blockchain, automatic driving and heterogeneous computing.
It's not just about attending summits, but rather discussions on innovation, industry, and the future, according to a member of the organizing committee.
Over the past decade, the annual technology gathering has expanded with the development of internet and cloud computing. Over 120,000 visitors from 81 countries and regions attended the event in 2018.
