Fuyang district of Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, was awarded the title of Natural Oxygen Bar of China in Beijing on July 18.

The Natural Oxygen Bar of China is organized by the China Meteorological Service Association and declared voluntarily by regions every year.

Qualified areas are recognized and given awards according to a comprehensive evaluation of their regional tourism and ecological environment, including climate, air quality, atmospheric anion level, ecological and tourism development planning, and tourism facilities.

The 66,666-square-meter eco-agricultural tourism garden in the national ecological village Xiangxi is currently under construction.

With green hills, clear waters and fresh air, Xiangxi village has become a trademark of rural tourism in Fuyang.

Adhering to the idea that "clear waters and green mountains are as valuable as mountains of gold and silver," Fuyang district has eliminated and shut down a number of paper mills with poor production capacity and developed its green economy.
