Hangzhou launches first innovation center to attract global talents

The unveiling ceremony for the Zhejiang Xiaoshan High-level Foreign Experts Innovation Center was held in Xiaoshan district in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on Sept 9.
During the ceremony, the Zhejiang Provincial Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs and Qianjiang Century City Management Committee signed a strategic cooperation agreement to work together to promote the construction of the center.
The innovation center, the first of its kind in Hangzhou, is expected to attract more high-end international talents and is seen as an important step for Xiaoshan in boosting its international profile.
The center will focus on setting up a livable environment conducive to innovation and entrepreneurship.
International communities, schools, hospitals and clubs for overseas high-end talents will be built at the innovation center to better serve overseas talents.
