Exchange meeting highlights cross-Straits culture and creation

A gathering focusing on cultural and creative industries in Hangzhou and Taiwan kicked off in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province on Sept 17.
The event, part of the 2019 Zhejiang-Taiwan Cooperation Week and the 13th (2019) Hangzhou Cultural and Creative Industry Expo, aims to promote cross-Straits innovation and entrepreneurship and strengthen communication between young talents on both sides.
Fifty award-winning works by emerging designers on both sides were announced at the event, focusing on cultural creativity, concept design, environmental sustainability, automobile design, space design, and cultural heritage.
A series of design exhibitions and forums will be held on Sept 19 to showcase the innovative and entrepreneurial achievements of cross-Straits college students and promote the industrialization of their products.
