Tu Meng, secretary-general of the Transfar Foundation, talked about how internet technologies can empower philanthropic causes.

He briefed attendees on the foundation's newly-developed application that can build a network among all truck drivers who use the app. If a truck driver asks for help, other drivers can respond.

Nearly 20,000 truck drivers have already registered on the application, according to Tu.
