Hangzhou will issue a transportation card on Jan 20 which will allow its users to use public transportation in 275 cities.

Cardholders can take the bus or subway in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Jiaxing and more.

Hangzhou Public Transportation Group has upgraded more than 9,900 bus terminals in the city to accept the national transportation network.

The group aims to make the card usable on the subway system by May 1, 2020.
