Hangzhou subway stations have been equipped with infrared thermal imaging devices to help quickly check the temperatures of passengers amid the current epidemic, as an increased number of people are now entering the city after the local government called for companies to resume production.
The infrared thermal imaging devices can quickly monitor the temperature of a passenger at a remote distance, meaning passengers don't need to stop for a manual temperature check when passing through security at the subway station, increasing speed and efficiency.
Hangzhou subway stations are also implementing strict rules on cleaning and disinfecting every corner of the subways and stations.
In addition, passengers taking the subway are reminded to wear face masks when entering the station, and those who refuse to cooperate are reprimanded.
Hangzhou subway stations are also advising passengers to keep their distance from others when entering stations and on the subway.
