Hangzhou introduces food order and delivery system for employees
Hangzhou recently launched an online food order and delivery service platform targeted at companies looking to resume operations in order to help alleviate workers' worries about food safety amid the current outbreak.
The platform was developed by the Hangzhou commerce bureau in partnership with Ele.me, an online food ordering platform affiliated with Alibaba Local Service Co.
Alibaba Local Service Co selected a number of highly rated restaurants and requested that they offer catering services for companies.
Employees can use the new platform to track their food through the preparation process.
Ele.me also plans to do more to address the urgent culinary needs of companies, such as introducing "no-touch" delivery services to reduce the risk of infection.
