Hangzhou must view precautions against imported cases of coronavirus as the most important task in the city's current prevention and control work, Zhou Jiangyong, Party secretary of Hangzhou, stressed at a meeting on March 13.
Zhou said that governments at all levels should carry out their duties and take measures to tackle the challenges.
He said that the international heath code system and overseas Chinese heath information registration platform should be improved.
Zhou also said that governments at all levels should determine the needs of overseas Chinese, international students, and expats, and try to address difficulties they are facing.
We should consolidate our hard-won achievements in the control and prevention of coronavirus, he said.
We should improve the Qinqing Online platform to enhance direct links between companies and the government and introduce favorable policies targeted at companies.
And last but not least, Zhou said that protecting medics and workers fighting on the frontlines from coronavirus must be made a priority.
